No. Walk-ins are welcome; we will get you in and out in under 30 minutes including paperwork and CARB submission.

CTC compliance fee is $32.13 per vehicle for the year 2026. This fee is paid direct to the State and is subject to annual increases in line with the California Consumer Price Index (CCPI).
5) How much is a clean truck check in California?
Clean Truck Check centers are privately owned & operated, and each center may choose to set their own fee. At Green Smog we charge similar to smog checks $60.00 while most other centers charge upwards of $100.00.
6) Who has to do a clean truck check?
With the exception of below, all non-gasoline heavy-duty vehicles with a GVWR over 14,000 lbs. that operate in CA must be compliant with Clean Truck Check.
